The Urban Art Hall held its first location from 2017 to late 2019 in the former Post Office in Spandau. Across more than 5,000 square meters, an open experimental space for street and mural art emerged. International and local artists transformed facades, halls and rooms — always temporary, always in dialogue with the culture surrounding them.
The Old Post Office became a hotspot of urban culture, merging exhibitions, concerts and workshops, and drawing attention far beyond Spandau. With the demolition of the building, Chapter One came to an end, but it remained a defining starting point for the Urban Art Hall concept.
